Jesus Last Words - Day 6 & 7

“It is Finished…”

Jesus, the Son of God, never wavered from His destiny-

The Lamb of God, “slain from the foundation of the world” Revelation 13:8.

"Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame” Hebrews 12:2.

The debt of sin was paid.

Colossians 2:13–14, "God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.”

Hebrews 2:14,15, "Satan’s fate finished-“He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil."

"With His last breaths - He cries out -“It Is Finished…Willingly surrenders His life into His Father’s hands.

He “offered up Himself unblemished to God” Hebrews 9:14.

“Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” Luke 23:46
